What is a Collage?

A Collage is a work of art in which pieces of paper, photographs, fabric and other ephemera are arranged and stuck down onto a supporting surface.

A digital Collage combines these elements in a digital format that can be printed on to any medium such as photo-paper, canvas, metal, etc.
